Meet Elise - the Founder
Hi! My name is Elise and I am the Designer and Founder of Blue Ullu.
In 2006 I travelled to India as an international volunteer doing service for a rehabilitation center as an assistant yoga teacher. After only two months of local service and cultural immersion, I already knew that I wanted to work with women from the local community through textile products.
We empower the families and artisans working for us by providing ethical work and a cyclical economy to support families out of the cycle of poverty.
Our mission is to help 2500 women out of poverty by 2020
Every bit counts.
Our products are made using eco-friendly botanical dyes and all natural fibers.
